Netiquette is an imperative skill to have in an online classroom and it should be part of any opening unit especially in the K-12 environment.
I created this lesson for EDTECH 521 but have used it and modified in all of my online courses with Idaho Digital Learning.
This module is designed as an opening unit for an online course to establish some guidlines for netiuette so that everyone in the course is on the same page when it comes to how to treat each other.
It starts with a presentation narrated by me in VoiceThread. The it is followed by resources for learning which are links and videos.
Then it displays the quiz and worksheet for an online scavenger hunt designed to help them learn on their own about what is important with regards to netiquette.
You can visit the entire course module if you would like with the link below.
